ABOUT US

Through the cooperative efforts of the Illinois State Board of Education, the following services are offered to professionals working with the Block Grant/Preschool for All programs:

  • A state-wide comprehensive professional development program designed for personnel associated with Prekindergarten Programs for Children at Risk of Academic Failure, Prevention Initiative Programs for At-Risk Infants and Toddlers and Their Families, and Model Early Childhood Parental Training
  • A clearinghouse for identifying peer support, consultative services and other educational resources.
  • An early childhood resource library which houses a large collection of classroom materials, and professional resources.

RESOURCE AND REFERRAL

Resource and referral information is just a phone call away. Educators can always call the Illinois Resource Center Early Childhood Professional Development office with questions, concerns, comments or to help find experts to address a specific problem.
