GED® Fundamentals

1- Day Workshop (5 Professional Development Hours*)
For teachers who are new to GED® preparation, this
workshop will provide information on the specifications
for each of the GED® tests: time allowed, points given,
format, and structure. National statistics will be
shared on which tests, sections, and types of questions
are the most difficult. In addition, participants will have
the opportunity to learn about and experience firsthand
activities to prepare students for the GED® tests.

Participants will learn to:
• Provide students with accurate information about
the GED® tests
• Develop lessons that maximize students’ ability to pass
the GED® tests
• Integrate skills and knowledge in classroom activities
relevant to several GED® tests
