Registration Information

Who can attend workshops and take online courses for professional development hours?
Persons who teach or work for organizations or programs funded by the:
• Illinois Community College Board (ICCB)
• Illinois Department of Human Services/New American Initiative (IDHS/NAI)

Who can audit online courses?
“Audit” means that no assignments may be submitted, and no certificates with professional development hours will be issued.

Persons who teach or work for organizations or programs funded by the:
• Illinois Community College Board (ICCB)
• Illinois Department of Human Services/New American Initiative (IDHS/NAI)
• Illinois Secretary of State Literacy Office (SOS)

Special Professional Development Activities

These workshops (listed in the catalog) are available for "In Network" Participants only. “In-Network” staff refers to persons who work or teach for an organization funded by the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) Office of Adult Education and Family Literacy. All other persons are considered “out of network.”

Citizenship Professional Development for NAI Citizenship Education Programs
Training is open to all teachers, tutors, and volunteers working with English language and Citizenship education classes.
